Customized Onsite Storage

Onsite storage units are fully customizable to meet your needs. You don’t have to “make due” with a storage container that doesn’t work for you. Some of the modification options for mobile storage units include:

  • Additional doors and windows to turn your mobile storage unit into a makeshift office
  • Various types of shelving to accommodate small, medium, or large boxes
  • An assortment of lock options to boost the container’s security

Onsite Storage offers solutions to meet the changing storage needs of today’s businesses and homeowners. While a construction company might need additional brackets installed to accommodate ladders, the clothing store down the street might prefer a mobile unit set up for optimal inventory storage. Meanwhile, a clinic that is required to store medical records on the grounds of the facility could certainly use an onsite storage container with shelving. Onsite Storage can help meet the needs of every customer through numerous modification options.

Multiple Sizes of Onsite Storage

Containers are available in numerous sizes. Whether you need to store the complete contents of a medium-sized restaurant during a building-wide renovation or you need to keep equipment dry during the off-season, we have an onsite storage unit to meet your needs. The smallest of the onsite storage units doubles as an ultra sturdy residential storage shed—perfect for areas that experience severe weather. The largest container is big enough to hold finishing materials for a small commercial project. Standard containers come in lengths of 10, 20, and 40 feet.

Onsite Storage can also put you in touch with one of our partners to obtain a 15 or 25 foot long unit if the standard sizes aren’t quite what you are looking for. Find out more about choosing the right size container for your needs by checking out our detailed Onsite Storage Sizes.

Onsite Storage for Everyone

There are onsite storage options available for anyone. Inventory storage, construction site storage, and remodel storage are just a very small sampling of ways onsite storage could be utilized. The possibilities are endless. If you have a need for secure storage and enough space to accommodate a container, onsite storage is the most advantageous solution for you.

When you store materials, inventory, equipment, overstock, and other types of belongings onsite, you have access to your possessions at any time. You no longer have to drive across the city only to find that the access gate at the public storage facility had closed ten minutes prior. Storing onsite not only saves you time, it can also save you money.

Onsite Storage makes it easy to find an affordable onsite storage container. Request a quote to receive multiple competitive prices on the container size and configuration you need.

Increased Safety and Security with Onsite Storage

Security is important. Your personal belongings, your sensitive documents, and even the tools that make up your livelihood are stored in those containers. Where better to store those items than on your own property, where you have full control over the level of access? Most public storage facilities are secured in some manner; however, nothing can compete with your own ability to keep an eye on your possessions.

In addition to the increased level of security that comes with storing items on your own property, there are customization options that can also add an enhanced level of safety. Choose specialty locks for your onsite storage container for added safekeeping, or add steel bars to window modifications to help circumvent potential break-ins.

Affordable and Efficient Solutions with Onsite Storage

Onsite Storage partners with businesses in the local area to provide a secure, effective, weather-resistant way to store your items. FAQ

What is an onsite storage container?

An onsite storage container is a large, enclosed, rectangular box made from steel with a wooden floor. These containers allow you to store items on your residential or commercial property, or even at temporary jobsites. Onsite storage is cost-effective and convenient.

Are onsite storage containers made from weather-resistant material?

Our containers are constructed from steel. Steel containers such as these are used for intercontinental transportation and are made to withstand wind, saltwater, and even tropical storms. Onsite storage containers are tested for water-resistance prior to leasing or sale to ensure that your belongings stay safe and dry.

How can I rent an onsite storage container?

Onsite Storage makes it effortless to rent a container for inventory, equipment, remodel, or jobsite storage. Just request a quote and let us know what you are looking for. Our local partners will quickly be in touch with competitive quotes.

Can I purchase an onsite storage container?

Onsite storage containers make wonderful long-term storage solutions, but purchasing can be costly. We can help you obtain pricing for a container purchase, but keep in mind that the price of long-term leasing may be more affordable. Request a quote now to get started.

Will the container be large enough for my belongings?

Onsite storage containers come in multiple sizes. Our Onsite Storage Container Sizes page can help you determine which size will work best for your home or business.

What if I need more than one storage container?

At Onsite Storage, we are able to provide quotes whether you need one unit or ten. Indicate your needs and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

How secure are these containers?

Because these units are made from steel, they have added durability over other types of storage containers. There are several locking options to choose from, which helps ensure that your equipment or inventory stays safe even when you are away.

I only need an onsite storage container for a weeklong event that is coming up. Is there a minimum leasing period?

One of the benefits of onsite storage is that you only keep the container for the amount of time you need it. Whether you need equipment storage for one month or construction site storage for two years, Onsite Storage has you covered.

Will you deliver?

Yes, the onsite storage container will be delivered directly to your location when you need it.

Can the container sit in front of my home?

In most cases, the onsite storage container can sit in front of your home as long as the area is level. Keep in mind that local ordinances vary. Always check on permitting requirements prior to ordering your container.

My jobsite is gravel-graded. Will delivery be a problem?

Delivery on a firm, flat surface is preferred—such as a concrete slab or a blacktop drive. We can deliver to most compacted dirt or gravel-graded areas. Our partners will make every effort to deliver your container safely. If you have specific concerns regarding posted roads, wet ground, or other obstacles please mention your concerns when communicating with our partners.

I really need a door at each end of the onsite storage unit, plus an access door on the side. Is this possible?

Absolutely! We want the onsite storage container to meet your needs. In fact, we work hard to make sure you have access to the storage solutions that work best for your home or business. Our partners can add doors, windows, additional locking mechanisms, and even shelving.

I’d like to fill the onsite storage container and have you move it to my new location. Is this an option?

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate moving requests. Our partners only provide stationary, onsite storage solutions. The unit will be delivered to your site for use. When you are finished with using the unit for onsite storage, remove the items and simply call for retrieval of the empty unit.
